Storage Units
Our self-storage units are located in 4 buildings, in our location behind the Leatherwood Hills-Little General store off Route K in southwest Columbia. All units have exterior, drive-up access, except for Building 200, which is our climate-controlled building. It has interior access.
Storage units come in various sizes. Here's an overview of common sizes and what they are often used for. You want enough room to store your belongings and make them easy to access, without paying for more room than you need.
Be sure to read our storage tips to help you maximize your space.
- 5 x 10 (small) - Ideal for boxes and bins, a bedroom set, contents of a mid-sized bedroom. Picture it as similar in size to an average walk-in closet or guest bathroom. There's usually enough space for someone to stand and comfortably go through their belongings. A great size for a college dorm room or studio apartment!
- 10 x 10 (medium) - This size will hold items for about 3 rooms, including mattress sets and appliances. Usually a good fit for a modest apartment of 800 square feet. Picture a large shed or half the size of a one-car garage. Our most popular size.
- 10 x 20 (large) - May hold furniture and contents of a multi-bedroom home, about five rooms of space. Larger items like living or patio room furniture and outdoor equipment fit well here. Picture about the size of a one-car garage. If you're moving, remodeling or building a new home, this could be the best size for you.
